We LOVED this b&b place, and MANY thanks to our host couple Barry and Denielle for being so kind and warm welcoming. On a rainy day we drove pass Crookwell on a road trip, and we were very lucky to be taken very good care of by this warm hearted couple who retired from Sydney. They not only prepared us clean and cozy room (with a very fair price), but also drove us to a local pub with great seafood for dinner. We also made new friends with people staying at the inn, who are nice people with interesting life stories. We really enjoyed the feeling of chatting by the fire place in such a cold rainy day, with a cute dog (patches) lying by the foot ♥️ Also Barry is very knowledgeable of the area and recommended us good local bakery and visiting information for the next day. All in all we couldn't be more grateful to have found this little inn and encountered those good people passing on local kindness and hospitality.

My wife rang again and got Spud (Barry) this time. ‘Denielle can’t come to the phone right now, she is up to her elbows in flour.’ He volunteered. This is shaping up to be an adventure I thought after hearing all this. Let’s go! We managed to book a room and on the morning of our stay we hopped on our motorcycle and travelled to Crookwell. We arrived, and as per instruction, rode around the rear of ...
